Rigging a Bat!

For our group's Pipeline Production, Ident Project, we decided to follow a Hallowe'en theme and chose Nickelodeon as our target company. I was responsible for rigging and animating a Bat character for a 'toony' and amusing ident.
The Bat rig had two modes - FK (Forward Kinematics) and IK (Inverse Kinematics).
For both rigs I used a Flexi Spine to create extra squash and stretch whilst animating. The spine also twists to extreme lengths, which creates a more 'toony' style of animation.
